Hotels in Cordoba Spain

The most convenient thing about Cordoba is the high speed train that travels from Madrid to Seville has a stop there.  So it is a city that is easily accessible for a day trip from either Seville or Madrid.  With that said it is also a city worthy of an overnight stay.  I often find the smaller cities like Cordoba to be more intimate than say Madrid.  If you plan to spend the night try one of the below hotels.

Hotel Las Casas de la Judería – One of Cordoba’s swankiest hotels and rated as a five star.  It was restored not that long ago respecting its rich history you will find each room decorated with period furnishings and artwork.   More information...

Hospes Palacio del Bailío Hotel Cordoba – Once a palace built between the 16th and 18th century this luxury hotel does a great job of mixing the old with the new.  Located not far from all the major sites the hotel has parking for those driving into town.  Hotel Bailo has a pool, a lounge, a garden, fitness center, and restaurant.  See how the caliph’s of old lived during the day and live like a caliph by night. More information...

AC Hotel Cordoba Palacio – This a Marriott chain hotel and while not a palace or ancient building there is sense of security in knowing you will always get a good hotel with Marriott.  Very modern and trendy, this hotel offers it all, room service, restaurant, cable/satellite TV, fitness room, swimming pool, garden, Wi-Fi, and parking.  Only downer to this hotel is that it is not located in the old city. More information...

Hacienda Posada de Vallina – located near the old Roman Bridge and not far from all the main attractions.  This cute hotel has Wi-Fi, parking, safes, and a friendly staff.  For extra cost enjoy their delicious continental breakfast. More information...

Hospedería del Atalía – This newer hotel is just 50 kilometers from the mezquita and offer awesome views from its terrace.  Owned by professional cyclist Pavel Tonkov they also offer bicycle rental and advise of cycling tours in and around Cordoba.  Breakfast is not included but for is reasonable enough for en extra fee.  More information...
